​Sreeja Renganath is a multidisciplinary classical artist whose creative journey weaves together Bharatanatyam, fine arts, Veena, music, costume aesthetics, and traditional Indian storytelling.

Trained in Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music from the age of five, she has dedicated her life to preserving and celebrating the timeless beauty of Indian classical traditions through movement, music, and visual art. Her artistic world extends beyond the stage into realistic pencil portraits, devotional artworks, digital illustrations, Tanjore paintings , Veena performances, and culturally rooted creations.

A disciple of renowned Gurus like Padma Vibhushan Dr. Vyjayantimala Bali and Tanjore Sri Chinnaiya Sivakumar, Sreeja continues to pursue artistic excellence while remaining deeply grounded in tradition, spirituality, and heritage. Her multidisciplinary training allows her to approach every creation, whether a dance performance, a portrait, a musical composition with emotional depth, authenticity, and artistic integrity.

As a performer, teacher, researcher, and visual storyteller, she believes that art is not merely an expression, but a sacred journey that connects culture, devotion, history, and human emotion across generations.

BHARATANATYAM CLASSES

As a passionate teacher, Sreeja has been actively training and guiding Bharatanatyam aspirants of various age groups in their journey in this art form. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, creativity, and a deep understanding of the art form’s spiritual essence. Through her guidance, her students not only learn the technical aspects of Bharatanatyam but also its rich cultural, historical and spiritual significance.

The Bharatanatyam training program offers structured practical and theoretical learning rooted in traditional classical foundations following the traditional Tanjore style. The curriculum includes Adavus, Margam training, Abhinaya, Talas, stage presentation, repertoire development, Nattuvangam and guidance aligned with BFA/MFA academic syllabus.

FINE ARTS CLASSES

The Fine Arts training program focus on observation, technique and creativity. Realistic pencil art curriculum covers the fundamentals of shading, still life practice, human anatomy and the creation of photo-realistic portraits. 

Painting programs include training in poster colors, acrylic painting, and oil pastel techniques.

 

Tanjore Painting course provides end-to-end training rooted in authentic South Indian heritage craftsmanship.

Digital drawing sessions introduce students to the fundamentals of digital sketching and the adaptation of traditional artistic concepts into modern digital mediums. Customized workshops and advanced mentorship programs are also offered for aspiring artists and dedicated learners.

VEENA & MUSIC CLASSES

The veena and music training focuses on building a strong classical foundation from the beginner level through systematic learning of swaras, swarasthanas, alankaras, geethams, jathiswarams, swarajathis, varnams, keerthanais, and kalpana swarams in both vocal music and Veena.

The sessions emphasize not only on raga understanding, but also the aesthetic depth, bhava, and traditional nuances that form the essence of Carnatic music.

 

Students are guided through a disciplined yet enriching musical journey that blends tradition, creativity, and performance-oriented learning.
